About Us

Our Mission

The Student Food Security Coalition (SFSC) was founded to empower and mobilize student involvement in tackling a systemic issue. Led by students, SFSC actively seeks food and monetary donations to support the community through contributions to local food banks. SFSC is committed to eradicating food insecurity through strong student collaboration. With over 17 million people in the United States facing food insecurity in 2023, SFSC aims to diminish the number of hungry individuals and increase access to food through donations, advocacy, and volunteerism.
